The Author’s Glass was born from vision, identity, and the belief that community deserves beautiful spaces too.

I am a Puerto Rican woman from the Bronx, now proudly rooted in Florida for the past five years. Carrying both the resilience of New York and the warmth of island culture, I have always understood the power of connection, culture, and creating something meaningful from the ground up.

After moving to Martin County, I noticed something missing. There were places to shop, places to dine, and places to pass through, but there was no welcoming space created for readers, writers, thinkers, and dreamers to gather after hours in a setting that felt elevated, inspiring, and full of soul.

The Author’s Glass was imagined to fill that gap.

This upcoming bookstore + wine café is being created as a sophisticated yet comfortable space where all kinds of people can feel at home. A place to read quietly, work creatively, join book clubs, meet authors, attend spoken word nights, learn the craft of writing, exchange ideas, and build genuine community.

It is for the woman rediscovering herself through books.

As a wife, mother of four, homeowner, and woman who earned a college degree later in life while raising a family, I know firsthand that dreams do not expire. The Author’s Glass represents growth, courage, reinvention, and creating the kind of place you once wished existed.

This is more than a business. It is a love letter to stories, to culture, to ambition, and to community.
